Being an entrepreneur was always my calling. It was in my blood. I guess a lot of people say that, bt I was starting my first business when I was 7 years old and wanted to buy the coolest yo-yo. By 19 I had read over 50 business books. I got hired by Accenture when I was just 20, and was still studying: that job was the most valuable foundation I could have. I learned the value of having structure, to be able to make precise but split-second decisions.

As I scaled two startups to masses and multiple markets, I got to put that into practice. Often and successfully. Now I’m on the road to become the dominant service globally in our industry, by creating a new e-commerce experience: human, personalized, and prizing details. 


I co-founded Barkyn because I’ve always been a dog lover, and I wanted to solve the issues I had taking care of my two big dogs, Misty and Lupi. They don't like supermarket dog food, and I’m always forgetting to place orders for more. They hate going to the vet, and I struggled to find advice for taking care of them without going.


So we created a service that simplifies pet care in one single point of contact. Plus, we know that this is a huge business opportunity: the market is huge, keeps growing and it’s only shifting towards online now! 


And on our way there, we’ve always been able to count on Shilling. Especially at a very early stage, the good, solid advice that they gave us was critical. It really helped put us on the right track to bring delight to our customers, to our investors, and to all of their pets.
